Trial and Retribution - Series 12

Trial and Retribution is a drama series created by Lynda La Plante and is broadcast on ITV1. Each two part story follows a different story through a crime being committed, the following investigation and finally the trial.

Episode 1:- Siren (1)
An ambulance is run off the road and the patient being transported inside is shot in the head. The victim is revealed to be Sebastian Cole, and the media interest is high as he was engaged to Imogen Buller-Turi, who was a favourite with the tabloids, promting Walker to intrude on Connor's investigation as it becomes clear that the murder is not a simple case of road rage, which leads Connor to reluctantly accept an alliance she would rather not commit to.

Episode 3:- Ghost Train (1)
A young girl falls from a ferris wheel to her death at the local fair, which is initially thought to be nothing more than a tragic accident. But then Satchell's aunt, who is a fortune teller at the fair, approaches the team saying she believes there is more to it. Before long a second death occurs, and her suspicions seem justified, leading the team into a murder inquiry.

A family known for their involvement in crime are involved in a robbery at a jewelers where the manager is murdered. One of their accomplices becomes an informer and is also killed. DS Satchell finds his life and his young daughter's life in danger when he witnesses the latest killing.

DS Satchell is desperate to find his wife and daughter now that they are misssing. Walker and Connor try to find the evidence to put the Bilkin family behind bars. Satchell decides to take matters into his own hands when he feels he has nowhere else to turn.
